Catching Up

I figured it was about time to get more caught up on life here in the Roberts' house old... or at least more caught up than just a post about a stump.

Ready? SET GO!!!

First, Sam turned 6!!!! For her birthday, we did a little Tea Party. It was so cute and so much

fun! Here are a couple pictures from it. We had the girls

decorate hats, place mats and plates. Then dec'ed them out

in necklaces, bracelets and rings. Then we went up to the tea party. My mom was gracious enough to let us do it at her house. For a menu we had peanut butter and jelly or ham

and cheese sandwiches (cut into flower shapes with a cookie cutter), fruit melon balls, grapes, cucumbers and to drink chocolate milk and strawberry lemonade. Dessert was cupcakes. It was such a fun little party and Sam, despite thinking going to Chuck-e-Cheese would have been more fun, has decided she really liked it.

Miss Clara. Oh Miss Clara. She has been a funny little

turkey, as usual. We seem to have her asthma fairly under control (ohh.. hmm, I don't think I ever announced it here, but she has asthma), however with the school year starting and her older sisters bringing new germs home, she has had a few hiccups. Right now she is on antibiotics getting over pneumonia. She is still happy, smiley and giggly, so

that is good!

On October 10, 2010 (10-10-10),

Pernell was finally able to bless her (to a christening) . We tried three or four different times to bless her, but each time, without fail, Clara ended up either in the hospital or really sick. This time she had has some issues, but we were getting her blessed, darn it!! And we did! YAY!! It was a really special day. There were two other babies that were bless that day also. So sweet! Clara was first. I think this was because they wanted to get her done fast in case she had another asthma attack or something LOL!!

Kaylee and Sam both started school in September. Kaylee in 4th grade (AHH!!! Can you believe it????) and Sam in kindergarten. So far so good, they both love school, their teachers and friends. YAY!!!!
